Rio Tinto:
The river Rio Tinto is in southwestern Spain which is originated from the Sierra Morena Mountains of Andalusia. It flows generally south to southwest, reaching the gulf of Casiz at Huelva.
The area around this river has been mined since ancient times and so we can see a lot of minerals in the water. The iron content inside the water makes the water red. Even some of the bacteria enjoy their life in that river by exploiting the iron.
The weirdness of this river comes from its high acidity and it has made some NASA scientists to say that it is very similar to the underground waters of Mars as they have found strong evidence of present life on Mars.
