An American chain of restaurant and international franchise, Pizza Hut has been offering different styles of pizza along with side dishes. It runs under the flagship of Yum! Brands. Pizza Hut has more than 5,600 store locations in 94 countries and territories around the world along with more than 6,000 restaurants in U.S. Pizza Hut was founded by brothers Dan and Frank Carney in 1958 in their hometown of Wichita, Kansas, along with their partner John Bender. Additional restaurants were opened, with the first franchise unit in 1959. In 1978, the company was acquired by PepsiCo.
