Formed: 1909

The Secret Intelligence Service (the famous “Her Majesty’s Secret Service”) provides intelligence information to the British government. The existence of MI6, which is a British equivalent to CIA, was not officially acknowledged until 1992.

It is involved in many operations during 1^st and 2^nd world wars and the cold war.
