It's most likely that your friend too is having those Monday symptoms. Do not drag your conversation for hours, rather keep it short. The prime aim of your talk is to get back to your comfort zone by knowing the fact that you are not alone in this. You do not have to talk about being depressed and always remember to avoid work related topics in your conversation. A short, good communication can dramatically change your state of mind.
