5. Hipmunk
Hipmunk is a travel search site that aims to take the agony out of travel planning. The co-founder of Hipmunk, Adam Goldstein arrived at his name only after discussing the naming with his girlfriend. She was prompt to suggest they go with a cute animal so that they could have a cool logo. And ultimately they zeroed down on the name Hipmunk.
