Prasanta Shandilya: The 11 year old from Orissa saved her parents from being murdered in their house by throwing chili powder on the faces of the assailants. The young girl is also chosen for the National Bravery Award.

Adithya Gopal: 14 year old Adithya from Arunachal Pradesh died saving his best friend from drowning. His family will be conferred with the Bapu Gaidhani Award on his behalf.
