Bangalore: Actors turning producers, actors turning directors or script writers - it all happens here, in Bollywood! While these things seem to be worn out and gone, actors now are turning to singing. And they are not the only ones; singers are now hopping onto the bandwagon of actors. From Abhay Deol to Atif Aslam, here are a few actors and singers who are lending their voices and showcasing their acting skills on the big screen. Farhan Akhtar:

A director, producer, script writer, lyricist, television host and now an actor and a singer, Farhan Akhtar did playback singing first for his movie 'Rock On!' which went on to extremely well. He later sang in the movie 'Karthik Calling Karthik' and recently for 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. He has always considered himself to be a good singer and his fan following seems to agree with him! This charming musician, composer song writer, singer, painter, model and now, actor made his acting debut in the movie 'Tere Bin Laden' which was directed by Abhishek Sharma and released in 2010. He was seen portraying the role of an ambitious young reporter. Confident, charismatic, fortified with verve and a perfect comic timing, he was later seen in the recent 'Mere Brother ki Dulhan' alongside Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan.
