This delicious dish is a popular sweet in Karnataka. It was first prepared in the Mysore Palace, and served to the royal family. From then on it became a Royal sweet and was named Mysore Pak. It was originally known as Masoor Pak as it was made of Masoor Dhal Flour. It is a sweet Dish made of generous amount of Ghee or Butter, sugar and gram flour. They are long rectangular in shape, Very soft, spongy and melt in the mouth.
