In the year 2010, Google spent a whopping $50 million on its Q&N service called Aardvark; however it had to be closed down in September 2011. It helped people to answer each other's questions online. A blog post of Google says, "While Aardvark will be closing, we will continue to work on tools that enable people to connect and discover richer knowledge about the world."
