Sinclair C5
It has been only a few years that the electric vehicle has gained momentum in the market. But the first battery electric vehicle was invented much ahead of this decade, i.e., on 10 January 1985 by Sir Clive Sinclair in the U.K. The vehicle had serious limitations, but has all the qualities that we find in the modern modes of transportation. Unfortunately, the vehicle was impractical for the British climate and therefore suffered technical and road safety issues like shortened battery life, driver exposed to the weather, which resulted the company to go into receivership the same year it launched.
