The first product from the celebrity entrepreneur Kevin Rose’s Milk, was shut down this March failing to see the user adoption they felt was needed since its launch in late 2011. Milk felt that their resources, time, and focus could be best used in other upcoming projects and products.
Oink was an app that helped users reviews the best things in the places around them. The company stated, “We started Milk to rapidly build and test out new ideas. Oink was our first test and, in preparing to move onto the next project, we have decided to shut it down to help focus our efforts.”
