Business Model
Knowlarity is solving business problems by making telephony intelligent and reliable in real time over cloud for start-ups, SMEs and Enterprises. The company provides a distributed and extensible telephony platform that utilizes and combines the calling capacity of each cluster on demand to serve high volume requirements for its telephony products or services. Knowlarity's disruptive products such as SuperFax and Super Receptionist are replacing physical fax machines and in-house PBX systems.
“We are a SaaS company and thus have pay-as-you-go model. We charge low yearly fee to our customers for our services. Most of the times, the cost of service is a fraction of the cost of on-premise systems,” says Pallav Pandey, Founder and COO, Knowlarity.
Fundraising
Knowlarity raised its initial funding from Angels based in the U.S., Sequoia Capital invested $6.5 Million in Jan 2012 and the company website boasts about the same with a very interesting Q&A pattern - What is common among Google, Yahoo, Apple, Youtube, Linkedin, Justdial and now Knowlarity?
