Safety Concerns Making Women Expats Reluctant to Work in India


Further, it is noted that the number of foreign women in companies is also on the rise. India is vital as it is one of the most growth-oriented markets and many banks and financial institutions also desire to increase diversity population across the world to about 25 t to 35 percent.

There is an increase in the number of foreign entrepreneurs who are coming to India, attracted by the need for innovative products and the possibility to make a much bigger impact than in the saturated developed economies.

But the question here is if the incident will have any impact on the interest among women expats in India as the destination to work and if they will still consider it as a place to explore their opportunities?

However, the advantage seen in a situation like this is that most women expats working in India are from the higher income bracket and hence, can afford more protective safety services.
