9. Sarah Lacy: PandoDaily

Sarah Lacy recently left her editor post at TechCrunch and started her techblog, PandoDaily. With a $2 million funding, she is aggressively hired professionals for the blog and recently she announced the participation of some former TechCrunch writers.

With Lacy’s wide industry connections and the big writers on board, PandoDaily is expected to make some big news this year.

 

 

10. Jason Goldberg and Bradford Shellhammer: Fab

Jason and Bradford earlier founded Fabulous, a website which offered daily deals for gay men. The venture was not a big hit and they went to found another company, Fab which is a private sales community for design lovers. The flash sales site was a big hit and according to the founders, they are generating more than $200,000 per day in sales. Jason and Bradford raised $40 million last month and with the launch of fashion sector recently, the founders have big plans for this year.
