Research In Motion Fails Due to Its Bad Entrepreneurial Function
Where did RIM fail?
Entrepreneurial function is the section that RIM miserably failed off lately. Though it did not do good with the other two functions like what it did before, It experienced a ‘catch’ which did not let it move further in making and marketing products that could compete Apple, Android and Windows. It did not have an entrepreneurial power to take over the market and to develop blackberry into a better version like that of IPads, Galaxy and any other such powerful gadget.
RIM was further slow in developing user friendly apps and also games that could pull an user back to his seat until eternity. It did not do well in market as the entrepreneurial push was way behind and the market fell into stronger hands. If RIM has to come out of this blow, it has to have a proper entrepreneurial planning that can get it back to its ‘best’ position. It must develop products and apps that can compete with the current technological giants and this merely possible only by fulfilling the most important function – The Entrepreneurial Function.
