10. Mebin Cyriac from Kerala
To be Awarded With - National Bravery Award

This is another brave and extraordinary 16 years old lad who saved his drowning teacher. When he saw his teacher falling into river while getting off the boat, Mebin jumped into the water and rescue him.

11. Viswendra and Satendra Lohkana from Uttar Pradesh
To be Awarded With - National Bravery Award

While returning from school, Viswendra and Satendra (cousins) dived into a drain to save the occupants of a car and saved them. “When we were walking back home after school one day, we saw a huge crowd of about 300 people gathered near a deep drain. On asking around we were told that a car had fallen in. We immediately jumped into it and pulled out four persons from the car,” Viswendra said. “Our parents and teachers have always taught us to help others whenever we can and we didn’t want to be like the others who were just standing there and staring,” Satyendra told Firstpost.

Some of the other recipients of National Bravery Award in 2013 are E. Suganthan from Tamilnadu, Ramith K. from Kerala, Vishnu M. V. from Kerala. Sameep Anil Pandit from Maharashtra, Pawan Kumar Kanaujiya from Uttar Pradesh, Stripleaseman from Meghalaya, Sapna Kumari Meena from Rajashtan and Suhail K. M. from Karnataka.
