As of July 2013, World of Warcraft is the most subscribed MMORPG and holds Guinness World Record for the most popular MMORPG subscription. In this game, players create the characters based on the number of starting options, such as the race of character and its category or group. This game consists of carrying out quests, dungeon runs and raids, and other activities, to gain awards that will permit the players to enhance their character and tools. Additional features such as locations to explore, and seasonal and periodical incidents such as Halloween, Midsummer and weekly fishing competitions have been included to the game world. A pet battle system similar to Pokeman is the newly added feature, where players can collects pets through the game and combat with them.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game published by Electronic Arts. This game has earned $139 million revenue in microtransaction sales. This game gained 1 million subscribers within three days of its launch, which made this game the world's "fastest-growing MMO. In this game, players can join with either of the two main sections- the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire.. Each character, including the player character feature full voice dialog to improve game, and interactions feature a dialogue system.
