Much Awaited Car Launches Of 2014
Datsun GO
After 3 decades, once again Nissan has re-launched their Datsun brand. It is expected that Nissan’s Datsun will launch its first car, Datsun GO this year. The Datson GO is expected to be priced at 
2.50 lakh to 5lakhs and will be powered by 1.2 liter petrol engine that produces 76PS and 104Nm of torque with a five speed gearbox. The details of the mileage are not yet revealed.
However, the GO is positioned in the A segment that generates the highest revenue in the Indian car market. It will compete with the Tata Nano, Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Nissan Micra Active, Chevrolet Spark and the Hyundai Eon.
Honda Jazz
This year, the Indian auto market will see the revised version of Honda Jazz. The first generation Jazz was well accepted in the Indian market but the wrong pricing upset the market sales. The new model is expected to have a price tag that ranges from 4.70 to 7.50 lakhs and is said to compete with VW Polo, Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Swift.
The new Jazz will sport a 1.2 litre petrol engine that will produce 86PS and 108Nm of torque and the diesel engine will be powered with a 1.5 litre engine, which can produce 100Ps and 200Nm respectively, but rumor has that Honda will come up with a 90PS powered engine to make it a fuel efficient car.
