The American rock and roll and country music singer-songwriter and pianist has been married six times. His first wife was to Dorothy Barton (February 1952 to October 1953), followed by Jane Mitchum (September 1953 to October 1957). Married Myra Gale Brown in December 1957, divorced her and married Jaren Elizabeth Gunn Pate (October 1971 to August 1983).  His fifth wife was Shawn Stephens (June to August 1984) and sixth marriage was to Kerrie McCarver which lasted 20 years and ended in divorce in 2004.

Jerry Lee Lewis once married his 13-year old cousin while he was still married to another woman.
