Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of United Kingdom from 1940-1945. He was an emotional and charming leader who inspired a generation of people to take up arms and defend themselves during the Nazi invasion of Great Britain during the World War II. His feats during this time of great suffering made him a legend in the eyes of his people and landed him among the list of the greatest wartime leaders of modern times.

Churchill also served as an officer in the British Army, and was a renowned writer, a historian, and an artist. He is the first and only British PM to garner the highly coveted Nobel Prize in Literature, and was also the first individual on the planet to receive an honorary citizenship by the United States.
