PETA India said that, Shashi can be a good example for showing that even the politicians can be sexy and compassionate. To show his vegetarianism, Shashi also went on to propose the idea of making Jan 12th as ‘National no meat day’, which was also supported by Varun Gandhi, BJP’s Member of Parliament, and other vegetarian and non-vegetarians across the country, supported these two MPs through Twitter.
