Most Extreme Countries For Human Rights Violation

2. Sudan:

Sudan, an Arab state in the Middle East and North Africa is one of the worst countries that violated human rights the most. The country faces large-scale human rights violations in its political, social, and economic spheres because of extensive ethnic, religious, and political armed conflicts that prevail all throughout the country. The East African nation is still far-flung from stable since its independence in 2011 as around 655,000 people have been displaced because of the conflict between the army and the  rebel groups.

 1. Syria:

In Syria, the violation of human rights is at its peak by both government and rebel forces mainly during the ongoing civil war. With arbitrary arrests, disappearances, and torture, it has gained a tag for itself for being the worst violators of human rights. The authorities harass and imprison human rights activists and other critics of the government. Basic human rights like freedom of speech, expression, association, and assembly are strictly violated in this country. Women and ethnic minorities are the worst targeted ones. According to Human Rights, President Bashar al-Assad was unsuccessful to improve Syria’s human rights record in the first decade during his rule, and the country’s human rights situation remained among the worst in the world.
