Fact #4: Revenues earned by McDonald’s makes it the 90th-largest economy in the world

McDonald’s is one among the most influential brands in the world with $37.4 billion brand value. The revenue earned by the company in the year 2012 was almost $27 billion which made it the world’s 90th largest economy. Moreover, the revenue of around $8.7 billion collected from the franchise outlets made the company richer than countries like Mongolia.

Fact #5: McDonald’s has pioneered its unique cold chain management system

Although India is known as the second largest producer of food in the world, loses around $ 9.1 billion worth of production in wastage due to lack of proper storage, according to Amit Jatia, vice chairman of McDonald’s India, West & South (HRPL). He further stated that “McDonald’s India has pioneered its unique cold chain management system that has been able to both cut down on its operational wastage and retain the freshness and nutritional value of raw and processed food products. This immensely benefited the farmers at one end and enabled customers to get the highest quality food products, absolutely fresh and at a great value,” reports Executive Travel.
