Too Many Leaders

The Indian Government is led by more than one captain. Manmohan Singh is often called a captured king who is not capable of taking his own decisions. Moreover, the opponents argue that his statements in the parliament are made only if "Her Majesty" (Sonia Gandhi) approves it and that he is just a mere puppet with no following of his own nor a leader at his own right. The government policies lack cohesion and the Prime Minister seems aloof regarding the situation. PM's confused state of mind can easily be depicted through P. Chidambram's juggle with the recent budget. The management mantra says that a team led by more than one captain can never actualize its real potential. Having two captains will always result in commotion and difference of opinion. PM Manmohan Singh is ready to make all the compromises to buy peace with Pakistan, whereas, Sonia Gandhi always recognize the anti-Pakistani feelings among electorates.
