India's Upcoming Cricketers Whom the Country Now Idolizes

2. Parvez Rasool:

Parvez Rasool Zargar is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket as an all-rounder for Jammu and Kashmir. He is a right hand batsman and offbreak bowler. He became the second cricketer from Jammu & Kashmir, after Vivek Razdan to get selected for the national side when he got his maiden call-up for the national team for India's Zimbabwe tour of 2013.  Rasool became the first cricketer from his state to bag an IPL contract, signing up with the Pune Warriors for the 2013 season.

3. Sanju Samson:

Despite being a teenager, Sanju Samson has emerged as a prime contender to be the flag-bearer of cricket for the state of Kerala, one of the few regions in India where football's popularity and following outdoes that of cricket. Samson shifted to Thiruvananthapuram in his early teens after taking his first cricket lessons in Delhi, where his father worked as a police constable. In Thiruvananthapuram, Sanju started creating waves in junior circuit with his bat. His impressive technique combined with an ability to time the ball first earned him a place in Kerala's U-19 team and a consistent outing in the Cooch Behar Trophy (domestic U-19 championship) elevated him into India's team for the U-19 Asia Cup in 2012. In the IPL, he plays for Rajasthan Royals. He is the youngest to score a half-century in the IPL and in Champions League Twenty20. This he achieved on 29 April 2013 in the match between Rajasthan Royals vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore.
