9. Vinita Bali
Managing Director, Britannia Industries
She started her career with Voltas and worked on the launch of the soft drink brand Rasna. She was also related with Cadbury for more than 10 years and with the Coca-Cola for 9 years.
In 2005, Vinita Bali joined Britannia Industries and is currently the Managing Director. It was under her leadership that Britannia’s annual revenue got tripled to $841 million.
She received the ‘Business Woman of the Year’ in 2009. Her name appeared on the Forbes’ list of ‘Asia’s 50 Power Businesswomen’ in 2011.
10. Shikha Sharma
Managing Director and CEO, Axis Bank
Shikha Sharma is one of the simplest CEO’s in India. She wears no make-up except a traditional Indian ‘bindi’.
After she completed her management studies form ‘Indian Institute of Management’, Ahmedabad, she failed to get selected for any foreign banks. She started her career with ICICI Bank in 1980.
She is serving Axis Bank as the CEO and the Managing Director since June 2009.
