Mody is married to business tycoon Jaydev Mody. She was enlisted as one of the 25 most powerful business women in India by Business Today during 2004-2011. She has the ‘Financial Express Knowledge Professional of the Year’ Award. During 2004-2006, she was named one of India's 100 Most Powerful CEOs by The Economic Times.

8. Aruna Jayanthi

CEO, Capgemini

Aruna Jayathi made her debut in the corporate world through TCS. She served TCS for 10 years. At present, she is the CEO of one of the leading French IT companies, Capgemini.

She completed her studies from ‘Narsee Monje Institute of Management Studies’. She joined Capgemini in 2000.

In the year 2012, Fortune Magazine ranked Aruna Jayanthi as the third most powerful business women in India. She is considered to be the sole reason for most of the success of Capgemini in the Indian IT sector.
