3. Jean Drèze:

Jean Drèze, a naturalized Indian of Belgian origin is a development economist who has been influential in Indian economic policymaking. His work in India includes issues addressing issues like hunger, famine, gender inequality, child health and education, and the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA). He had conceptualized and drafted the first version of the NREGA. Drèze is the intellectual thinker behind the National Advisory Council (NAC) led by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. His social expenditure campaign helped the Congress party to maintain an edge during the 2009 general election.

4. Francisco D'Souza:

Francisco D'Souza, the CEO of Cognizant, was part of the team that founded the NASDAQ-100 company in 1994. D'Souza is among the youngest Chief Executive Officers in the software services sector in India. Since, D’Souza took over as the chief executive in 2007, the number of employees had doubled to over 85,000. D’Souza is a high-energy executive who not only has the significant ability to put himself in clients' shoes, but also can get Cognizant to adjust and respond to market changes rapidly. Under his leadership, the company has daringly acquired conglomerates, entered new markets and addressed latest opportunities that match with the changing market realities.
