India: Powering Global Designs
India must focus on
Production of silicon is an emerging sector in India, related skills in this genre like lithography, RET and OPC will grow in demand over time, and talents in this area must be groomed. System Level Design is another area where Indian engineers lack expertise. If these areas are improved and developed, then India can be considered a fertile environment for new technology adoption.
Earlier, the design and manufacturing space were two different worlds with no mutual interaction. But, today both these streams are getting closer and their association becomes vital for a great output. If Indian design experts fill this gap with utmost dedication, there would be new opportunities opening up in this segment.
