India Among Nations Where Women Work More Than Men



9. Britain:

Over the past decades, women have made great strides into Britain's workforce. According to the report, Britain women are mainly focused on traditional task like care taking and household work
While the overall pay gap between men and women has lowered to 10 percent for full-time workers, some traditionally lower-paid occupations remain overwhelmingly dominated by women. Most women spend an average of 11 more hours on household matters than their male counterparts do.

10. China:

China is one of the most egalitarian countries in the world when it comes to labour force. After the founding of the People's Republic, female labor force participation in China increased considerably. Chinese women are actively contributing to the paid labor force at such an extent that it exceeds several other countries behind. In China, working women accounts for 43 percent of the total population which is larger than either working American women (35.3 percent) or working Japanese women (36 percent).
