Brazil has maintained its 3rd position since 2012. With its attractive demographics and increasing income, Brazil is getting investors from all over the world.

In Brazil, FDI in 2011 was $66.7 billion, which created a record by increasing 37 percent from the previous year.

Canada

In 2012, Canada was in the 20th spot in the FDI index, but with a year’s time this country has jumped up to the 4th position on the index. Infact, it is the only G-7 country which has recovered its output and employment losses from recession.

In 2011, the foreign direct investment of Canada was at $40.9 billion, which was almost doubled when compared to 2010’s $40.9 billion.
