cvitamin
Fact: In one word - No! Even though Vitamin C has for long had a repute of preventing colds, clinical studies have not put forth any proof showing its effects in cold prevention and proving that its useless to gulp down mega doses of it. Nonetheless, a few studies have shown that doses of 200 mg or greater may help reduce the duration of colds faintly. The rates of success also vary from person to person as some people recover slightly while some others don't. Try and see how it works for you, but don't exceed 2,000 mg per day as it results in an upset stomach.
