Honda Jazz was loved due to its large leg-space and 1.2 Litre i-VTEC engine. But a big price tag and unavailability of diesel engine were its pitfalls. Sales did not rise even after Honda cut prices. 1.5 Litre Diesel i-DTEC engine and Jazz’s new edgy looks similar to ‘Euro Civic’ are slated to impress the Indian buyer. In view of competitive pricing by Volkswagen Polo and Suzuki Swift, Honda will have to ensure that Jazz is appropriately priced. Jazz retains Brio’s 1.2 Litre petrol engine as well.
Fiat Grande Punto Evo

The Grande Punto Evo, as the name suggest is an upgraded version of the Grande Punto. It would have arrived in India early last year but for Fiat’s new independent identity. The Punto Evo looks much sharper as it features a redesigned front bumper and headlamps. Similarly, the rear gets a similar facelift with new tail lamps and bumper. Under the hood, the 1.2 and 1.4 Litre petrol engines are provided. The 1.3 Litre Multijet Diesel is the diesel variant.
