High Time That Modi Shifts His Focus From Oratory to Action

Modi has accused India’s Prime Minister of “selling poverty” to Barack Obama, openly announced that the UPA is not a dream team but a “dirty team” in the Indian politics and has pointed finger at the Congress for using the CBI to fight elections, as reported by Sagarika Ghose.

Modi and the BJP have spent 10 years in Opposition accusing the UPA of corruption and ambiguous activities. But now India’s question to Modi is in regard with his substitute charter of governance and the country is starting to wonder if Modi will truly implement all his ideas which seem so upright at the moment.  Beyond the slogans and the battle cries, the leader’s acts are showing anti-Congressism in every move. Modi has also said that he wants good governance in the country, but the query here is: who doesn’t want a good governance?

After 10 years in Opposition, BJP and Modi are only posing a problem for themselves as they are provoking other parties. This negativism will only cause a messy situation in politics if Modi does not come forward and show active participation in bringing about changes in the nation.
