CV Raman 125th birthday: On 7th November 2014, Google has marked the celebration of CV Raman’s 125th birthday with a doodle on its home page. The most prominent scientist’s birthday was depicted with an illustration, where the chemical rays emits from a source and CV Raman’s face was portrayed behind ‘G’ letter of logo, Google’s O represents his most renowned work, the Raman Effect.
Shakuntala Devi 84th birthday: Google has come up with a doodle on the occasion of 84th birthday celebration of Indian mathematics wizard
Shakuntala Devi. The doodle is designed as a calculator screen with a digital sketch of shakuntala Devi, who generally known as ‘human computer’ for her ability to generate complex mental calculations. Following her picture, numbers were arranged to illustrate the logo ‘Google’.
MS Subbulakshmi 97th birthday: On the occasion of Carnatic vocalist MS Subbulakshmi’s 97th birthday, Google paid its homage with a doodle. It was designed with a portrait of Subbulakshmi playing tanpura along with other musical equipments such as Ghatam, Tabla, and Mridangam, which completes the logo ‘Google’. She is well known as India’s first musician to be awarded with Bharat Ratna for Carnatic music.
