Google Doodles That Made Occasions More Alluring To Indians


Sarojini Naidu’s 135th birthday: On 13th February 2014, the search giant has marked the 135th birthday of Sarojini Naidu, the nightingale of India with a doodle. The doodle has come up with a portrait of Sarojini Naidu in the place of second ‘O’ letter of the logo. The letter ‘L’ in the logo has been replaced with a pen, which depicts Naidu’s passion towards writing.

Republic Day: Google has celebrated India’s 65th Republic Day with a doodle that depicts motorcycle riding, similar to the one performed at Republic Day Parade.  The logo has portrayed the Border Security Force daredevils using the tri color of Indian flag. The daredevils on the doodle were depicted as riding motorbikes and performing balancing act with second ‘O’ of the Google logo. The top row of BSF jawans and the letter ‘O’ is depicted with saffron color, the middle row jawans was in white and the bottom row jawans and the letters G, O, G, L and E were in green color forming a national flag.

Holi: On Holi this year, Google has lit up its homepage with a colorful doodle to mark the annual festival of colors. The Holi doodle featured a traditional spray gun splashing colors all over the Google logo. Four different shades such as pink, yellow, blue and green were used on the logo to mark the holi.
