#6 Vinod Dham

Popularly known as the Father of Pentium Chip, Vinod Dham is an inventor, venture capitalist and Entrepreneur. He has contributed to the development of highly successful Pentium Processors from Intel. He is a mentor, advisor and investor and currently sits on the boards of many companies including startups funded through his India based fund – Indo U.S. Venture Partners where he currently presides as founding Manager Director.

Born in 1950, Vinod Dham pursued his Graduation in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. Later on he went to pursue a graduate degree from the University of Cincinnati.

#5 Vivek Bhardwaj

When BlackBerry introduced its new Operating System and Smartphones this year, we noticed a young Indian who was the main focus of the event. He is Vivek Bhardwaj, the current head of software portfolio of BlackBerry and ‘the man behind BlackBerry 10’.

He calls himself the ‘British guy in Canada’, but shows an Indian connection. He grew up in U.K., studied information systems and then worked for Siemens Mobile and BenQ Mobile before joining BlackBerry.

His father was born in Punjab and then migrated to U.K while his mother was raised up in Kenya.
