Los Angeles: Bond star Daniel Craig has said his upcoming film ''The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'' is "horribly graphic" and laden with adult content. The 43-year-old actor, who is portraying the role of journalist Mikael Blomkvist in the remake of the film based on the book of the same name by Stieg Larsson, insisted the contents of the film is as "adult as you can possible make it", reported Esquire magazine. Craig said director David Fincher is not making any attempt to tone down the movie, which will release in December. "It's as adult as you can possibly make it”. This is adult drama. I grew up, as we all did, watching ''The Godfather'' and movies that were made for adults. "And this is a USD 100 million R-rated movie. Nobody makes those anymore. And Fincher, he's not holding back. They’ve given him free rein. He showed me some scenes recently, and my hand was over my mouth, going, ''Are you serious?''" said Craig. The ''Casino Royale'' star, who was himself shocked after viewing a cut, said the adaptation of the novel contains torture chambers and people being lit on fire. "It’s not that he simply showed me footage that was horribly graphic. It was stuff that was happening, or had happened. And somehow you don’t see it," added Craig.
