Genpact bags 5 year BPO contract from Unitech Wireless
Bangalore: BPO firm Genpact has bagged a five-year back office services contract from telecom operator Unitech Wireless. As per the deal, Genpact will deploy customer service solutions for Unitech Wireless in North India through its operations center in Jaipur. "This is a significant win for us and we are delighted to collaborate with a company that is focused on becoming a preferred telecom service provider. Our deep understanding of enterprise-wide business processes and operational excellence are strengths we will apply to serving Unitech Wireless," said Genpact President and CEO Pramod Bhasin. The value of the deal has not been disclosed. Unitech Wireless is a joint venture firm of real estate major Unitech and Norway-based Telenor Group that operates under the brand name Uninor. Genpact will provide Unitech Wireless with support in areas including process re-engineering, inbound and outbound customer service and training. "With Genpact as our partner, we will build the quality of customer service as our strongest differentiator in this competitive market," said Unitech Wireless Executive Vice-President (Marketing), David Meneghello.
