Planning
Planning is the key part of any endeavor and an organized attempt is sure to hit the target. A football game is not won by kicking the ball around, rather by sticking on to a 'game plan'. There earlier the plan is made for any possible situation, the easier is the way to success. There has been a lack of culture of fitness; fatigue, both mental and physical; lack of preparation etc that haunted India during the England tour. Many of our leading players such as Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh ruled unfit for some of the matches. Although the onus is on the individuals to prepare well or to remain fit for the tour, BCCI cannot escape the blame for its brainless planning.
