Eight Longest Living People In the World


Anna Henderson:

The world’s sixth oldest living person is again a lady, 124 years old Anna Henderson. She is a home maker form west Philadelphia. She came to Philadelphia from her home town Georgia in 1925. She is a member of Holy Temple Church from a long time and has voted in every Philadelphia elections. She has seen 20 U.S. presidents in her lifetime.

She has seen her fourth generation as she has eight children, 25 grand children, 15 great grand children and seven great great grand children.

Antonia Gerena Rivera:

The current oldest living person is an American super centenarian born in 1900. She was born in Puerto Rico and is currently living in Miami, Florida.

Ethel Lang:

Britain’s oldest, Europe’s second oldest and world’s eighth oldest living person, Ethel Lang was born in 1900. Lang was born in Worsbrough. Her great grandmother lived till 92 and mother lived till 91. She has a daughter who is 90 now. She has seen 22 Prime Ministers and six Monarchs.

She is now living in Barnsley care home. She broke her hip when she was 98 but till she turned 107 she used to enjoy dancing. She is one of the last three subjects of Queen Victoria. She shared her birth date with her husband till he died at the age of 92.
