She started off at a tender age of 5 in the 1980 film "Altered States" which was followed by the role of Gertie in Steven Spielberg's "E.T the Extra-Terrestrial". A Golden Globe nomination for 1984 film "Irreconcilable Differences", followed. So did the drugs, rehab and rebellious acts! "The Wedding Singer", "50 First Dates" and the "Charlie's Angels" franchise followed but her coquettish comic timing as a kid will be missed.
