Chinese Women to Earn More than Indian Women by 2020

China does show a stronger female economy than India and with the coming years it’s expected to add to its existing strength. As the young Chinese professionals will become the part of the centre and top management workforce in the future making them the new force in the booming industry, as reported by Micheal J. Silverstein, Abheek Singhi, Carol Liao and David C. Micheal for the Boston Consulting Group

When it comes to the women in India, the economy still needs to be strengthened and improvised through their participation. In India the women have stepped into many prominent professional roles whether it is a private or public sector. They have taken the initiative to become the frontrunners and succeeded in many fields. However this positive course is seen only among the women in the fortunate circle of the society. This has only added to the social inequality hampering the economic upgrade of the country.

There are also concerns like gender discrimination, which may sound archaic but are still practiced in India. Apart from that the women don’t have the liberty to gain proper education. Their lack of participation in the labour workforce and they are paid less salary compared to men, retards the economic growth.
