Engine and Pricing:

The Mini Countryman Cooper comes in both petrol and diesel variants, wherein all of them carry the same engine, a 1598cc 4 cylinder 8 valve mammoth. The only difference that you see is in terms of bhp as the petrol variants- One and S provide 98 and 184bhp@5500rpm respectively, whereas the diesel variants- D and D High, both provides 112bhp@4000rpm.

The mileage is expected somewhere around 13 to 15 km/ltr.

The diesel models D and D High are tagged at 25.60 and 28.90 lakhs respectively, whereas the petrol models, One and S are being priced at 23.50 and 35.70 lakhs.

Overall:

Pros:  Safety features, looks are the real pros for this car.

Cons: Costly, new brand, lack of dealerships in India may let this car down.
