Ford offers EcoSport in three engine variants. A debutant 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged, direct-injection EcoBoost petrol engine with 125 PS power, the 112 PS, 1.5l petrol engine and the 91PS, 1.5l diesel engine directly from fiesta.
The first engine is learnt to provide high performance and mileage irrespective of its small size. The latter has already proved to be winners with its performance in Fiesta. The mileage stands in the range of 17 to 20kmpl.
When it comes to pricing, the EcoSport has a surprise stored in it. The compact SUV’s length stands at 3999mm, which makes it eligible for the sub-4 meter duty cut. The expected price lies in range of 7 to 10 lakhs. The booking of this compact SUV will start in June and the delivery too is expected soon.
