Car Of The Week: Ford EcoSport

Interior:

The interior of EcoSport looks adequate when you compare it to a hatchback, but there is not much space to call it ‘sufficient’ to SUV standards. The cabin offers descent leg room and head room. The seats are comfortable with high seating positions. The low boot space can be expanded by folding rear seats in 60:40 split.

The dashboard design resembles that of fiesta to an extent. With fancy shaped, chrome lined air vents and a long list of features even in the base version, the vehicle do not let us down in that department. Tilt and telescopic steering, electric wing mirrors, remote locking, a multi-function display, music player with Aux-in and Bluetooth comes as standard. The top end version gets almost all the luxury features including 16-inch wheels, ABS, steering-mounted audio controls on a leather-wrapped wheel, driver-seat height adjustment, climate control, a cooled glovebox, front fog lamps, rear parking sensors, push-button start, leather seats, keyless entry, Ford’s voice-operated Sync system, and front, side and curtain airbags.
