Meera Sanyal, CEO, ABN Amro:

Sanyal was a corporate executive Vice president and head of services for Asia, ABN Amro. She was earlier the CFO of the bank. Initially she was working with ANZ Grindlays. She joined ABN Amro in the year 2002. In the year 2002, she became the MD of bank's BPO operations segment, ABN Amro Central Enterprise Services. She was an independent candidate in the year 2009 Lok Sabha elections from the south Mumbai constituency. She is also the president of Indian liberal group that works towards good governance in India. She was honored as a Woman Banker of the Year in the year 2006 by Indian Merchants Chamber.
