Naina Lal Kidwai has one of the great business minds. She acquired HSBC from Niall S K Booker in the year 2006. In the year 2002 she was the Vice Chairman and the MD of, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets India. She started her career in banking with ANZ Grindlays Bank which is now taken over by standard charted bank. Later she headed the Indian operations of Morgan Stanley and left in the year 2002. Fortune magazine listed Kidwai in world's Top 50 Corporate Women from 2000-2003. She also bagged the prestigious national award, Padma shri for her best banking abilities.
