Target Target, is an American retailing company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the second-largest discount retailer in the United States, after Walmart. Ranked at number 33 on the Fortune 500 as of 2010 , the company is a component of the Standard & Poor's 500 index. Its bull's eye brand is qualified to Wesfarmers, owners of the separate Target Australia chain. Target hurt itself in September when its launch of a Missoni collection crashed its web site. But people like the cheap and trendy retailer so much it kept its place in the top 10.

Apple has not made it in the top 10 for the last three years, but new iPad and iPhone models plus the death of Steve Jobs come into view to have grown consumers' fondness for the brand.
