Richard Grasso
Richard Grasso was the chairman of New York Stock Exchange. In August 2003, it was found that Richard Grasso had been given a deferred pay package of almost $140 million. This soon embroiled into a controversy as the hand-picked compensation committee mainly held representatives of New York Stock Exchange listed companies. Following criticism from U.S. Securities and Exchange commission, the exchange board asked Grasson to leave.
